This next set of tips will show you how to make your hands and nails look great!

1. Self Manicure
It’s quite easy to give yourself a manicure. Here are some pointers:
 Never use metal instruments.
 Always move old polish and gloss.
 Soak your fingers in a mild soapy solution before beginning.
 Use cuticle cream to maintain healthy cuticles
 Apply the color of your choice, letting your nails dry completely.
 Use a good hand cream often to add luster to your nails.

2. Going Fake
Fake nails can look just as good as real ones. Here are some pointers:
 Remember that fake nails don’t last as long in water, so wear rubber gloves when washing dishes.
 Carry nail glue with you for sudden brakes
 To remove fake nails, soak them in warm water for about 10 minutes first.

3. Biotin
To make your nails extra strong, take 300 micrograms of the B vitamin biotin four to six times a day. According to a U.S. study, 63 percent of people taking biotin for brittle nails experienced a big improvement.

4. Zinc
Zinc has been proven great for your nails. Milk and hard boiled eggs are great sources of zinc, so add these to your daily diet. A sign of zinc deficiency is if your nails are spotted with white.

5. Protect Those Hands
Between dishes, weather, and work, your hands can take quite a beating. Here are some ways to protect them:
 Wear rubber gloves when cleaning
 Apply lotion several times a day
 Use sun block
 Squeeze lemon juice on your hands once a day

FACE AND SKIN

This next set of tips will focus on making your face and skin beautiful.

1. Skin Type
It’s important to know what skin type you are. Simply use a tissue and hold it to several areas of your skin on by one. Hold the tissue to your face for 30 seconds. You’ll want the tissue to be just a tiny bit soiled. Anything more or less means dry or oily patches.

2. Lovely Lips
Here are some things that you can do to make those lips lovely:
 Apply lip balm several times a day
 Use a lip liner to outline your lips
 Apply lip gloss after you apply lipstick

3. Go Bananas
Bananas make great skin softener. Simply mash a banana and apply it to your face. Leave it on for about ten minutes. It will make your face feel smooth as satin.

4. Freeze It!
For an instant freshen up, spritz your face with cold water or stand with your head in the freezer for a few moments. This will reduce any redness, and give you the rejuvenation your face needs.

5. Protection
If you’re going out into the sun, make sure and wear protection. You’ll want sun block at least an SPF 15 or above. Apply it everywhere the sun will hit you; and don’t forget your lips and earlobes.

6. Go Glow
Need an instant glow for your night out after a long day? Mix equal amounts of lemon and honey in a bowl and apply it to your face. Leave it on for ten minutes, and then wash it off. Your skin will be glowing, and you’ll look fantastic!

7. Fight Wrinkles
Here are some things that you can do to fight wrinkles:
 Apply moisturizer daily
 Be gentle when removing eye makeup
 Wear sunglasses when you’re out
 Quit smoking

8. Tomatoes
If you want to give your face a treat, squash up a tomato and slather it on your face. Tomatoes are rich in antioxidants, and fight ageing effects on the face.

9. Water
Drink plenty of water. You not only need to stay hydrated from the outside, but from the inside as well. You can never drink too much water. Water cools you off, and reduces dehydration. Drink at least ten glasses of water aday.

This next set of tips will give you some pointers on how to make those eyes shine!

1. Glasses
If you wear glasses, here are some pointers for picking the right frames:
 The bridge of the frames should be light in color and set high on the nose.
 If you have a short or small face, choose a shallow frame.
 If you have a square face, choose a frame with heavy corners.
 The sides of your frame shouldn’t block your side view.

2. Dark Circles
Here are some ideas to help get rid of those dark circles under your eyes:
 Quit smoking
 Apply vitamin E cream
 Take cod liver supplements
 Apply used tea bags

3. Eyebrow Plucking
Many women don’t even consider plucking their eyebrows. The truth is that this can make a big difference. Done the right way, plucked brows open up the eyes, and make them look bigger.

4. Go Dramatic
Here are some tips to give your eyes that dramatic touch:
 Get colored contact lenses
 Outline your eyes with black eye shadow
 Use an eyelash curler
 Apply at least two coats of mascara

5. Puffy Eyes
Here are some things that you can do to avoid and get rid of those puffy eyes:
 Tap eyes before applying eye cream
 Keep eye cream in the fridge
 Place sliced potato, cucumber, or strawberries over your eyes
 Get enough sleep
